Mr. Trapp entertained us with "choir notes" &c.
Then we went to see Blanche Walsh in "The Woman in
the Case" - quite a breathless sort of a play. Amelie, John & Herma
rode up in the car with me. Bed late
Nov. 19. Sun.
And so sleepy this morning it seemed as tho' I couldn't get up at 9! Cloudy all day. I loafed & read
"Tommy & Grezil" - to N.Y. papers &
"The Spenders". Claude
was here to dinner - the dear - busy with a
competition which he went back too. I got dressed & went down to
church at 4:30. Mrs. Allen sat with me and a man
talked about the Anti-Saloon league - a Mrs.
Miller
introduced by Dr. Nutter. Read & wrote later.
Nov. 20-21-22 Mon. Tue. Wed
Dentist Monday & Tuesday - at noon & was late both times.
Monday it was 4 o'clock & so. A pretty day gleams of sunlight
under heavy cloud from
Dr. Scranton's window. Tuesday
clear and spring like. Reading "The golden Sorrow" nights
- & going to bed early very sleepy.
Nov. 23 Thu.
Just like spring - a lovely
golden surely warmish day. Prof. Rose
is dead -
suddenly in Catesby Oklahoma
and today I went to his
funeral at
Inguire & Thompsons. Mrs.
Rose & Flavie
