We dined at 7, by the Sunset window "against a primrose sky". The scenery had to make up for the supper which was scant. We spent the evening on deck. It was gorgeous bright and crisp and re- minded me of the northern part of Georgian Bay (Manitoulin Island way) tho' not so wild and wooded. The men sang hymns &c. and it was quiet and lovely. At the little stops all the people came down to see the boat - dressed for Sunday - I think we like Bath pretty well. Picton is very prettily situated but we arrived after dark and the Electrics rather spoiled it. We sat over at the port side and watched shooting stars and watched a pretty girl who looked like Maxine Elliott, and who was in love with a man named "Don" who flirted outrageously with a woman of fifty (?) or less just out of [illegible]. But most of the time we watched the stars and listened to the singing. Ethel went to bed first she was so sleepy, & when Carol and I went it took two - no five (?) minutes to wake her.
