and Lura were here to supper & we played flinch in the evening. They went home early. Lovely weather about now! Oct 6. Sun. Beautiful morning. Went over and stopped for the Mac Arthur's at 10:30 and we took the new Main Street Extension car to Palmer's Glen (went too far) We had a lovely walk (a trifle dawp) down the glen to the foot - paddling along to the reeds along the river - and then back to the edge of the woods and along down toward Float Bridge for a long ways. (a fence or two - and a swamp) passed one house (and a goat!) Finally we turned back thro the wood and finally thro' a clearing and up another lovely woody path (but steep) to another little glen around that - up a lane - past some Shetland ponies and finally to the road - all red woodbine and red apples (and burrs) We caught a car soon and I walked into the house as the clock struck two (dinner time) Mother said Mrs. Buell wanted very much that I should come over today. I was rather tired, but went about half past four. Had a nice visit with Mrs. B.
 & the Boys. Met Mr. B.
