getting a new tailor made bicycle skirt & coat - & a new silk waist (Mollie Murray) and I was fitted. Sept. 8 Fri. Lunched with Helen at the "Y" today- Like old times. Had a nice visit. They are putting the new windows in the dining room. Was cross tonight. Read "Divine Fire" upstairs. Also played flinch with Mother - Lovely day. Sept. 9. Sat. Another perfect day. Was very busy but managed to stop at 5 afterward supper rode out to Davises and had such a nice time with Helen & Charlotte. They and Lura (who came up later) told me "all about it" and Mrs. D. About her visit at Lillian's mother. We walked down by moonlight - Lura & I and had a heart-to-heart talk about the "Jane Proposition". Rode home latish. Sept. 10 Sun. Still lovely, but warmer - Started out on Diana about 11 or so & went to Maplewood Park (the whole length) sat & watched some people over at Brewer's dock. Went way down to Seneca Park Pavilion for lemon sour - got out to Lake Ave. Thro' one of the "parkway" streets to Dewey - back by devious ways to Lakeview Park - Up to Lorimer
