May 30 Thurs. A lovely bright day - but cool. Got up early as usual as Papa went to the office - The twins

are quite sick with the Measles - Marguerite was over - going to the Ball Game! Mother went off to the Parade! (also later to Cro'nest to lunch with Claude & Hal - Chat having gone for an Auto tour with the Alling's) I went down for the 10 o'clock car but got all balled up in the parade crowd (Esther Warmington, Mrs Newton Cooper &c!) Finally found the girls after 10 but the car didn't come up this way. We had to wait till 11 - but the parade didn't get past till nearly 10:30 & then Alice Whitten & little Emily
appeared - She's cute - much - smaller than Henry. Finally we got the Eleven and reached Webster at 12 - The apple blossoms were in their prime & so beautiful (I ought to put this in every second line for the next four days) The station man said the Dew Drop Inn people had been to two cars to meet us and wanted us to telephone. Which Nellie did - Just to "Mrs Walter Wright" of Rochester! It was very funny. Finally we left our bags & started to walk and Mr. Wright over- took us on the way & we walked the Inn - our big rooms (one with 4 windows & 3 beds & another) and our good chicken dinner and "Mr Wright"- most entertaining.
