Sr. We strolled back (after going thro' another cottage) & heard some of the "question box" discussed, & then had lunch and immediately afterward nearly everyone went driving. Papa didn't want to, so staid & wrote for A.O. &c. I went with Mr. & Mrs. Hunt of Sag Harbor (Mr. Elkins kindly arranged it) in a 2 seated buckboard. I sat with the driver, and we were gone from 2 till 7. Thro' the village, across the track, up a Mt. side, and along a lovely valley, with beautiful view at the further end - ten miles to Lake Placid. past the big Stevens House & down into the village, which hugs the lake - I got out and took the best view I could get. Then we drove along the street which winds along the shore, and came out another way, on the other side of the valley. When we got away I tried to take the outfit in front of a big boulder (Boulders are common) We went on and on past most picturesque log cabins & among lovely
