new rain- coat nearly like mine except its gray instead of brown. Saw

Cloudy this morning but fine
later. I stayed and worked till 3:30 after the office closed. Then
came home & had some bread & milk and at 5 Gertrude and I went to
Conesus to visit the
Willard's at "Wayback" - John Stull
was on the train & Mr. &
Mrs. A.O. Bunnell & Mr.
Ward
were on the boat & we visited all the way up. It
was still & quite warm. Saw nothing of the Twins
at Livingston Glen, tho' the whole family went up there for
two weeks at 1:45 today. Charles
& Mr. Willard both rowed over to
Barrett's dock for us (2 boats) & at
Wayback were
Dem & Mate &

Mr. W's nephew from
N.Y. He was very nice & proved to be good
fun. Everything was lovely there. Mrs. Weeks presiding
in the kitchen & 2 yellow kittens (Socrates & Xantippes) at
Holmes! Had a good supper (dandy
potatoe salad) all of us,
