At the R.R. station I found that train had just gone! Well I phoned home not to wait dinner, and to keep Grace Bingham, who was to call. Then I had a glass of milk and sat in the shade and waited - too tired to hunt for the strap to my Kodak bag which I lost. I finally got the 2:59 car (with Diana) and arrived home about quarter of four. Grace was there and we had coffee & cookies and such a nice visit before the fire and upstairs in my room - she told me about "John" (Haganian)
