immensely. I was charmed - all through - Even the

was young) Maude Adams was simply charming &
Wendy a regular little Grizel. It reminded
me of "Sentimental Tommy" parts
Jim Arnold & his mother were there too.

Cold. Smith (Arthur
K. our travelling man) came in & I had a long talk with
him this morning - about business &c. At noon went to Nan Connelly's and had a shampoo. It
rained, thundered, lightened and snowed while I was there!. Rained hard
tonight. I worked till 6:10! Wrote to Gardenhire.

Everything laden with snow this morning & slush thick - horrid
& cold. Busy all a.m. Smith here yet. At noon went
in to
McCurdy's, met Lura & bought a new brown
winter coat. Lunched at Sibley's with
G.C.B. & then shopped for Mother. Tonight went over to Meta's & had quite along
