Read alone & had a "concert' tonight May 10 Thurs Cold and humid. Came home to lunch alone (Papa down town) Read & finished our match game of flinch tonight. Mother won. Ma 11 Fri. A little warmer. J.G. went to N.Y. Mother came down to lunch with us & we shopped some & she saw Lura about a basket. Played flinch again! May 12 Sat. Lovely morning. Rode "Diana" - but it was too windy at noon and a gall tonight. Went to Edwards

& got Gellett Burgess' book and then to call on Lillian Davis (who was making strawberry short cake) After supper went over in Behn's yard & watched Theo & Meta play tennis. Then walked up for ice cream with Herma & Frieda. Charlie Bragdon wrote Mother F. was expelled for planning a drive with a young man clandestinely &c! Read, wrote & figured, later, (combed Zozie too).
