love of a table &c. &c. Had quite a pleasant visit but not a long one. Took 2 views of the house & Frank will give me the 3rd, but its not attractive. The old dutch doors are gone &c. Stopped at the little grave yard & took picture (for Mother) of the stones markings my great grandfather (Jacob Schermerhorn's) grave. (He died of cholera) my great- grandmother (Maria Vanderheyden Schermerhorn) and Maria Scher- merhorn's graves. Then we drove flying (also the wind ditto) up the Brunswick Road to the white bridge - across- up further- turned and came down the other side of the creek, into Pine Grove Ave. a very pretty ride - I drove a good deal of the way- the horse pulled pretty hard for Eo went to the house but found Frank wasn't there - so got Ruth drove back to the car. I wouldn't let Eo go the Station with me. Caught the 3:00 to Albany - slicked up a little (such mud!) & took the second Empire at 4 for home Rode in the "Daffodil". Had nice seal & a nice porter (who got the mud
