Went up to the
Graham Bldg. and saw the infringing Chute -
It looked much better (front view) than I expected but had a letter
stuck in it, over the box. The back was very crude & angles unpainted.
Took the "L" to Macy's roof tea room but
found it rather crowded. Went to the "Rubberneck Wagon"
as Claude calls it - sight seeing Auto
- at 34th St. and then down to the Flatiron
&
changed and they took a two-hour trip out 5th ave - thro' the park,
down Riverside Drive, & Broadway - saw all the big
"houses of millionaires - Carnegie, (with trees) Phipps -
Schwab
(not quite done - on Riverside Drive).

It was really very nice except Harlem was aw-
fully hot. The Times Bldg
