flinch &c. We had a very nice time. Cards & [illegible]
. Feb. 8. Thur. Fine winter weather. Papa read aloud from Collier's tonight. Played flinch later. Feb 9. Fri. Still fine. Bought silk for a new petticoat Lunched with Mary
 and Bess Hutchison at Sibley's this noon and had a very nice time indeed. I saw the eclipse of the moon last night. Woke up for 5 minutes just the right time. Ethel and Carol Flack came up tonight and spent the evening - & we had a very good time. Played flinch - partners. Feb. 10 Sat. Still fine. Busy, shopped with "Reg" & Ethel Flack tonight after supper "chaperoned" Margaret Fee & Herma Behn Robert Robson and Emil Meng
 up to the Oak Hill Country Club, where we tobagganed by moonlight on a lovely crusty hill. It was great fun and very exhilerating and delightful. The slide quite safe, but fast and good. A few others there (4 tobaggans in all, before the evening was over). Then we had coffee, sandwiches and cake, and were home by eleven. Read &c. rather late. Feb. 11 Sun. Fine bright cold day. Edith J. came up to dinner and we had a nice visit, made a valentine for Charlotte and went to Lura's to tea.
