Danforth's &c. &c. I quite enjoyed it. Came home on the car with Mrs. Carson & Delight Mar. 25 Sun. Hamilton was in yesterday to sell me a share of stock in the Hotel. Mrs. A. has backed out! Today is bright and sunny. Am reading "Princess Precilla's Fortnight" (Char recommended it & I like it) Rather late, I went over to Davises, and found all but Helen, and Frank & Lilian (in old rose) in the newly carpeted parlor. Hadn't been there long when a fire broke out down on Belmont St - behind them - and Chattie & I went to it standing in a backyard with Billy De Graff to see the kitchen wing in flames and the furniture coming out, home to supper & read later. Mar. 26 Mon. Snow again today. Miss McAffrey got back from N.Y. about noon. Had a fine time &c. Mar. 27 Tues. Horrid today. Rain turning to snow and damp coldness, Flora Vogel came up to night and brought here pictures of Jamaica and told us all about her trip there a few weeks ago. It was interesting. Mar. 28 Wed. Lunched at Sibley's today with Helen and Charlotte. We had a real good time and shopping a bit afterwards. Read tonight. Mar. 29 Thurs. Warmer Thurs. Friday it rained hard nearly all day I lunched with Mary Mar. 30 Fri. who is going to Washington with Edith Apr. 6. The MacArthurs move to 160 N. Union St. the 1st of April. Went to Mrs. Weston's and tried on
