to the theatre - The Perfects - That is Edith, Lura, Mary, Nellie,
Charlotte & May - had a nice
turkey dinner at Duffy's - good and jolly. Then
we went to a five cent cinemet- ograph show and then to
Crane's
(again) I enjoyed it almost as well
as last night - tired as I was. It poured when we came out.
Edith had an umbrella for me - to the car. I
took my hat in my hand and ran to the next one - & so home. My
(gray silk) dress was pretty wet but dried out right. Stayed up half
an hour. Then went to bed and to sleep and finally
Edith came (in a carriage) and woke me up - we didn't
talk tonight!

It was so very wet (rained all
night) that I didn't go up the Valley as I had planned
(before Edith came) Mr. Woodward
was here before I had begun my breakfast (!) and at about eleven
