Dinner of the Society of the Genesee in
N.Y.Jan. 28 Sun
Went up to Cro'nest this morning & found
Char on the couch sick. Claude
drawing - with his new suit on. He
got 3rd prize $100 - in the office building com-
petition. After dinner read upstairs and later Belle
Bragdon Hutchins
called with Miss
Wright of the West High School. She came to see
her step- son young Hutchins, who's been going to
school there & had appendicitis! Almost rain tonight.
Jan 29 Mon.
"Brite & fare". JW's new car is no good (till thoroughly
over hauled) He was quite disgusted. Went to the bank and to
Mary's this noon. Home tonight - no
company (Flacks
[illegible] of it)
Feb. 30 TuesJan 31 Wed.
Nothing to put down. Mildly busy
but not very. We had a family dinner at
Sibley's this noon & then
Mother & I went shopping - linoleum
for bathroom &c.
Feb. 1. Thurs.
Colder & blizzardy
Papa & I went to the
Baker & saw "Her American
Prince" by a member of the Post Express force
tonight. It was funny & "grand". A too handsome leading man &
a too homely leading lady!
