Mary Mosher invited all the people who had been up to Pointe- au-Baril to meet Miss McIntosh and most everybody came, except Lura, Mary & the Fowlers. There were the Golers, Glovers, Castlemans, Carrie Gould, all the Davises, Mrs. Webster, Kitty Crichton and I. We had a very nice time - lots of photographs to look at - and "Dooley" and talking to do and singing and eating &c. Dr. Goler, Kitty & I had quite a "heart-to-heart" talk in the plant room. There were American & Canadian flags up and "Duazyepleze" &c. - oh, yes, the Hoyts were there too. "Tommy" Webster came home with me and was quite entertaining. Late to bed. Walked down at six with Edith Scott. nice chat. Thurs. Jan. 25. "Brite and fare". Busy & glad to have a quiet evening at home again. Fri. Jan. 26 Lovely sunny day. They are working on 7 brick houses opposite today. Lunched with G.C.B. at Sibley's and at night Mother & I and Mrs. Davis & Helen went to Mrs. Baker's & had dinner with her and Lura - a nice visit, flinch &c. We all enjoyed it much - tho' we were tired to start with.
