over to
Oak - to Lyell - across the
bridge, up Magee (!) to Brown
to Maple
to Canal to
West ave. the tow path to the M.I.
alley, to Plymouth & home! (11
or 12 miles - most [illegible]) Had a good "swim"
& some rest before dinner and ate a big dinner! Then made some
prints. Took two baby pictures and read some more. Then dressed (in
white) and went up to Cro'nest and
had a very charming visit with Char ,
Claude & Jo.Papa came just as I was ready to
leave, & we walked down together. Read some more later.
Sept 11 Mon.
Was surprised to hear it
raining when I woke up this morning! Pouring too. It kept it up
more or less all day. School began and I rode down with a car load of
school - ma'ams. Wrote some letters tonight & after mailing them
stopped into see Herbert
's pictures (with his new camera) Then he
came home with me and spent the evening looking at mine, except that
Lura & Mrs. Baker came for a couple of hours.
& we played flinch
and had music. Had
coffee for supper & Mother &
I staid up very late!
