about table Dr. & Mrs. Welch of Washington. An old Bachelor & an old maid 15 yrs mar- ried and as loving & dear & jolly as any- thing. Also Mr. & Mrs. Stanley of Gloucester Mass. & their 15-year old daughter Louise
(a dear child) Their only son Will
- a young minister, married May Patterson of Rochester & preaches in Oberlin. O. They have an island back of the hotel and a cottage and Alice Patterson (to be married Sept. 4) and Rob. (the "Rev.") were visiting them. Large Mrs. Stanley was as nice as could be, & Mrs. S. funny & dear & simply wrapped up in the Island - where he spent most of his time. Then there were the Joslins of Cincinnati. Mr. & Mrs. (fisher - folk decidedly) Florence
(about 15 - fattish & learning to swim) and Allen (young-mannish - ran the gasoline empire. The nice Rogers family Mr. & Mrs. (oil man) Marjory (about 19 - a lovely voice & a very charming - Canadian-girl) Samuel & David (the latter very handsome- younger than Marjorie) and Jessie (8 - a little curly headed fairy) Jessie played with Betty Walker - a funny little person - most of the time and little Albert Walker about 2) was the dear Baby of the Hotel. Then there were Mr. & Mrs. Walker & "Uncle Albert" (of Scrantom, Wetmores) and
