"Rev.") were visiting them. Large Mrs. Stanley was as
nice as could be, & Mrs. S. funny & dear &
simply wrapped up in the Island - where he spent most of his time.
Then there were the Joslins of
Cincinnati. Mr. & Mrs. (fisher - folk
decidedly) Florence
(about 15 - fattish & learning to swim) and
Allen
(young-mannish - ran the gasoline empire.
The nice Rogers family Mr. & Mrs. (oil man)
Marjory (about 19 - a lovely voice & a very
charming - Canadian-girl)
Samuel & David (the latter very
handsome- younger than Marjorie) and
Jessie
(8 - a little curly headed fairy)
