2/16/07 The Vanderbilt Cup.
especially the "ladies part", low necked & short sleeved. Feb. 13. Wed. Warmer & sunshiney. Walked down with Marguerite Rowe - who has begun going to the Manual Training School for kintergarten work. Bought valentines (book's - postals, candy &c. ) Jno. Frey is sick at Behn's - threatened with pneumonia. Mother went to prayer meeting. I went over to Meta's. Feb. 14 Thurs. Valentines day. I got a lot - postal's &c. and a Book "Mandalay" from Mate Willard Warm this morning & cold tonight. JW. home sick this p.m. Jack took Frieda to a party to- night we played flinch. Finished "Molly Bawer"! Feb. 15 Fri. Lunched with G.C.B. at Sibley's - went to the safe Deposit & got my telephone bond & stock to "swap" - (not much money made there!) Pasted pictures in scrapbook tonight. Feb. 16 Sat. Elsie May telephoned Edith was sick & couldn't go to "The Vanderbilt Cup" with me tonight, so invited "Marie" Baker & we had quite a good time - but Mother dear sprained her wrist (slipped on the walk) this morning. Fortunately the new woman who came to clean - (in answer to an adv.) Mrs. Church seemed to know what to do I put antiphigestine on tonight. Mrs. C.
washed the dishes &c. but I went to the theatre quite peturbedly. It was good ammusement tho' Feb 17. Sun Mrs. Church came & got dinner today. Mother better & insisted on going to church I got breakfast. Char was down in the
