Work again - and plenty on my
desk to keep me busy. Saw Lura.
Mary came in. Starts on her
vacation tomorrow (Lake George & New
York.) Wrote all the evening, letters &c. &c.
Sept 5 Wed
Not so bad to be back. Wrote in
journal and played flinch, later, tonight.
Fine weather.
Sept. 6 Thurs.
Lovely day - fine
moonlight nights, too. To
Cro'nest this noon - for a word with
Claude
and at 3:30 he
telephoned. A son!!! Little
Henry Wilkinson Bragdon born about 2:30.
Char had Dr. Wesley
Mulligan & Dr. Ely & a nurse
from the Hahnemann hospital
till
Miss Jones came, about six p.m. Mother
was up in the afternoon and saw little
Henry while he was being washed -
She says he is a perfect little dear - plump and fine. Char was very brave and cheerful and
getting along nicely tonight. "Everything as it should be - she was taken
such at 12 last night & Katherine the girls with her till the nurse came.
Katherine has been very nice to her all along.
Claude & Carlie & Putzie, too. Claude is a
dear, I'm so glad for them
and so proud to be "Aunt
May" - J.W. called me so
first!
