Nov. 16. Sat. A warmish, pleasant day. Worked steadily, made prints for Mrs. Graham, had a nice call from Mrs. Myers this p.m. and then Mary came up at quarter of four & we walked home together got our wheels & had a very delightful ride out East Avenue to the Culver Road, up & down Argyle & Buckingham St. & then down East Ave. Walked down Main St. called at Hovey's, and then rode home at 5:30 - in the dark. Had a nice supper & a nice talk & a nice letter from Papa who is enjoying himself in New York. Then settled the parlors, which Mama & Mrs. Schneider settled cleaned beautifully yesterday. Then wrote & cleared out my desk. It is changed to East side of parlor - Now a bath and bed! I forgot to say that Thursday night, before I went to Mary's - I went to a funny little entertainment by the girls at the Orphan Asylum. The Directors & the neighbors composed the audience
