Mama yesterday p.m. We got a frame for a picture. ("The Old Old story") for Minnie Smith's wedding. In the office we have been planning our new offices. To-day was simply gorgeous. I know I ought to keep still, so staid in bed till 11 & lent my wheel to Alice MacArthur. Couldn't stand it any longer, tho' - so got up & took the electric car to Charlotte - no Summerville - strolled up on the bluff & sat half and hour in the sun watching the yachts & schooners in the blue lake (12 sails in sight!) Then collected an autumn boquet of yellow & purples &c. & took the one o'clock car back. This p.m. rode over to Lura's with Mary - & walked up to Hattie Arnold's & saw all her lovely wedding clothes (it was too much for me) They are lovely. Then went went up to Davis' a few minutes. Charlotte was off on her wheel. Mr. Davis wore his suit this week - $25.00. Mrs. Graham wrote me a lovely letter, promising some photographs - and Mrs. Dymond

sent me the children's pictures.
