Walked up the hill with Frank Davis. Bought diaries for Edw. & Frank &c. Was late to supper of course & eating raw oysters in the kitchen when Mary came to offer me tickets to W. Hamilton Gibson's

lecture at the G.V. club.
I'd promised Ned to go to Charlotte's, so Papa went. Had a nice chat with Mary. Met Ned about 7:55. Freddie & Edith came 100. We found Charlotte & Mr &Mrs D. at home reading Claude's article on Posters in the Post Express. Had a nice call & a jolly time with Charlotte. Saw her scrap - book again. Left the jam and drew a picture of "The roof it has an easy time A lying in the sun. The walls - they have to hold him up They do not have much fun"
on a paper for Hamilton! Told Charlotte about Claude's "Shark" picture, which amused her very much. The girls dragged me away at 9:30. & Ned
