May Bragdon Diary, June 6, 1895 – June 8, 1895, p. 93

came up and we had a real jolly time talking over trip &c. This is nice weather. June 7. Fri. Beautiful & still cool. Marjorie is 7 and had a party. Ned & Edith were up this p.m. It was "plenty busy" all the time. This evening I went down to Mary's. Helen, Miss W. Matie Arnold, Lura, Mabel & May Rogers were there. Mary sang "The Girl I Love" & we talked a long time. Then we played progressive Euchre& Lura & Matie A. got the prizes (carnations) & we had ice cream & cake & went home. Mary & Alice Mac A. came home with me - My but I was tired. Jun. 8. Sat.

And all day to-day, too. A lovely day & warmer. Went to the bicycle man's at noon. Met Ned. She invited me to lunch with her but I didn't go. She & Edith go to Geneseo this 6:30. Mr. Gilmore took Miss Roger's picture this p.m. (with JW's Kodak) & then I took his & then he took mine - & Willie's! To-night Papa got home and I had a "party." Helen, Miss Whipple, Mary & Lura. We did have a very good time - played "Telegram" & "Crambo" In the former we all took the same 10 letters & a subject & made a telegram the word beginning with
