when Frank, Helen, Charlotte & Harry Gould all
arrived on wheels. We sat & talked till 11:20 when we started
down the boulevard - arriving (after a be-au-ti-fu-l spin) at 11:55
at Windsor Beach. We all went upon on the breezy
bluff and found a lovely spot under the trees where we could watch
the blue-blue water & the sails &c. in the harbor, the piers
& all & feel the cool breeze as fresh as anything could be. We got
a pail of ice water and spread our lunch & enjoyed it very much.
Helen "fed the horses" (6 of them)
&c. Then she & Mary &
Kate & Mrs. D. & Frank &
Hamilton & I all went down on the
beach & strolled 'way past "the rocks." Skipped stones &c. &
did all sort of "foolishness". We all took "souvenirs" back to
Charlotte & Mr. D. Rested under the trees till about
two. Then started back, Kate
taking Helen's
place on the
Stearns wheel. We went up the mile hill in pretty
