July 22. Monday.
Shopped some to-day. Got my 1st dozen photographs & found the
finder wasn't right on my camera, so Mr.
Hovey
gave me another! Mary & I got
our tickets this noon. They cut down the lovely purple birch tree in
Brewster's yard - Plymouth
Ave., I spent the evening sewing &c.&c.
preparatory to "my trip."
July 23 Tuesday
A lovely day, at last. Rode over to Miner
& Fisk's to see about my wheel. (tires)
Theo & I pumped about an hour last
night & didn't get them hard. Fisk
showed me how. I found letters from Frederica &
Helen saying it was "Paradise" there
&c.&c. Saw Charlotte this
noon & possiblyshe they can go with us tomorrow night.
Mary came for me after supper
& we rode up to the Park & sat by the beautiful river half an hour
or so - talking "Kodak". Then started to
ride home Genesee St. way - but Mary
caught & ripped her dress by the end of
Bronson Ave. so we walked thro' there home and she
mended on our front steps & then rode home. Now I'm going to pack!
July 24 Weds.
Pleasant. Made blue prints of Helen's picture & some little negative of John's. Went home early
J.G. wasn't down this p.m., but J.W. offered me his
1895.
