We went up to bed about 10. Fresh beds & bedding & rooms &c.&c. Evidently we were the first who had ever inhabited the rooms Charlotte & Helen had No. 6 & Mary & I, No. 4. The west dormer. The beds were good. The partitions wood - we could hear Mr. F. giving his instructions. People bidding each other good-night &c.&c. June 30. Sunday Woke up at 7 6:30 to hear "Fred" called & "Louis" instructed &c. & went to sleep again - till 8:05. Mary & I called Charlotte & Helen then & waited till long after they were up - but got dressed first & went out & watched the harbour & the (few) people - some early bicyclists & some fishermen. The sun shone but the clouds were gray. When the girls appeared (about 9) we had breakfast immediately. Huckleberries & creamy - coffee - white fish, steak, mutton lamb - chops ("trimmed". &c. Then we walked over under the apple trees for a siesta. After a while Helen & Mary walked back to see if Lura was in sight & Charlotte
