Kept us laughing with her funny stories about Don's $12.00 eye! Oct. 17. Thurs. Lovely day. J.G.'s has begun on the charter business so I'm busy again. Edith was in to bring my plaid waist - just finished. I spent the evening sewing a little writing a little & reading ditto. Oct. 18. Friday. Lovely day. Wore my new plaid waist & everybody liked it. This noon went up to the building & into (or "upon") our new offices for the first time. They had just set the stone with the name on "Cutler Building" which Claude made. J.G. did the honors for me. Tonight - before five I rushed up to the campus - on my wheel - to see the football game - but it was over alas! Took a ride about the east side. Stopped at the flat to see Mrs. Nourse, but she had gone and I stopped at Bradstreet's & Mrs. B.

told me again of Louise's engagement to Will Randall. I had a complement for my riding, as I wound about between some children & dogs I heard a boy say "Gee - wasn't that slick? - Did you see that? - Which pleased me even
