Apr. 12 Friday Still good weather. More shop- ping (shoes) Charlotte's birthday To-night I spent pasting scrapbooks &c. Apr. 13. Sat. The bustle of Saturday before Easter. Cloudy & some rain. Shopped with Edith at five & spent the evening looking at "Trilby" & talking to Mary who came up late - I walked down with her afterward. Saw my robin again - Crocuses gorgeous! Apr. 14 Sunday Easter. Cloudy but pleasant. Neither warm nor cold. Went to church with Mother- coming back met Mary & Emma MacA in the park. We stopped & "discussed" awhile. Read "An Amazing Marriage"!. It was - It was the chapter with the Marriage in & the bridal trip to a boxing match! We all went to church this p.m.- Mama, Claude & I. Edith came - Music- organ - flowers - all magnificent. One feels that Christ is Risen and is joyful. Edith came home with us. Was loving & confiding &
