afternoon of "travel" - from 1:45 to 4:30 - interspersed with conversation
grapes, peaches - & the sight of leave- takings on piers and
furniture, grapes, peaches & bicycles loaded on. We just caught the 4:40 train from
Canandaigua - by Dr. M
's hurrying the electric car conductor &c. Had a nice
day, were well sunburned and didn't feel tired, so I accepted Edith's invitation to supper (given
yesterday) & found her & Helen just arrived from
a bicycle ride to South Park
