Rode down this p.m. & went to Mrs. Wagner's for my dress - which is quite pretty. Sewed this evening while Papa read aloud. June 29. Sat. More shopping. Miss Rathjen gave me her picture. We're talking vacations now-a-days. Gilmore will be back Monday I s'pose. Ned & Edith were up this p.m. Decided the last minute to go to the lake tonight from night, with the girls. (They asked me Tuesday) but stipulated coming home in the morning for me. Rushed around. Took a bath before supper & started as soon after as I could (7:03 or so) Knew Mary was gone, so hurried down - St. Paul St. way - to the place of meeting & found her just arrived - via Lake Ave. We waited from 7:30 till 8 for Frank, Charlotte & Helen & rode right along with them - with only one mishap. Helen slipped in
