Friday (Oct 11th) I took little Edith's picture both with my big camera & my little one. Then I lent the rest of the roll on the little one to Mary & she took all her family - severally! To-day I went down to Edith's (with Ned) before supper & tried on my waist. It was perfectly dark (at six) when I started for home and rained before I reached home. Today It rained Rode Diana all day tho' - between drops - till night when it simply poured. Ned & Edith came for me & the Diana had to be housed in the office with the "Gladstone Flyer". Went to Hovey's & Fahy's with the girls & rode home - in a packed car - with Claude (& Mr. Page.) Oct. 13 Sunday. A beautiful day. Of course I wished for Diana, and after dish washing &c. I walked down to the office to get her, but unfortunately the latch was turned & I couldn't get in tho' I could unlock the door. I walked up to Mary's - disgusted. She said "Never mind, you're going to stay here to dinner. Nellie says you may & Papa & Mama are in Batavia"! Of course I did, but first Mary & I went
