the Camp Tapioca boat approaching (the girl had named & labeled the camp after the name Billy O. gave me - "Queen of Tapioca"!) & rushed back to the dock to meet them. Snapped at some geese, going by - and they snapped - & hissed - back - & chased Mary. We rowed back with the girls. Went to the store. The clerk is very funny, pale with dark eyes. Trousers pulled way up & confined by a red canvas belt with a leather pocket on it over a white sweater, with collar rolled back. On Sundays he adds a tailed coat & a derby to this combination, & takes up the collection in a tin pail! When we got to camp, Mary, Frederica & I went in bathing. Mary wore Ned's suit & looked awfully cute & funny. Ned snapped us with the Kodak but something seems to be the matter. Had a fine dip. Went 'way out on a log tied with a rope & swam in, &c. Freddie is so tanned she looks like some kind of a cute little animal, with her rubber hat drawn 'way down over her ears. The "Roses" had all gone to Eel creek for the day, so we had dinner in
