showed me her
Kodak pictures and gave me one a cabinet of herself & "Roy" - Mark's collie dog.
Mrs. B.
asked me to stay to tea & after Mama & "Mrs
Dem" had gone I talked with Mrs
Bunnell while
Mrs AO & May
got the supper. After supper May
insisted I should go to church with her & "Albert"
(Hartman) who came for her. I did - to the Lutheran
church & afterward went back & had cider & a
doughnut & talked. May
went home with me & we had more reading
aloud by Mama - good stories.
Oct. 21. Monday.
Snow still deeper, but a clear day & after a little it began to
melt. Dr. A.
drove me up to Lizzie McCurdy's, after I had
taken the family's portraits (separately) including the dog &
the horse. Lizzie
seemed glad to see me - as always - she looks cute with her short
curly hair. Mr.
& Mrs. McC. look natural - &
Hattie - very & "little
Hughey" is the picture of the
McCurdys. He is a four 4 or 5 & very cunning
- sucks his thumb! I visited an hour or so and then Lizzie
showed me her
