Pleasant morning. Dug up my nasturtium seeds and had Papa put black mulch in & then got some new seeds & he planted it over again - also transplanted some things. Rode Diana in the morning but at noon a storm threatened & before I could get into a car to go back to the office it was pouring. While we were in the car it thundered & lightened & hailed - great hail- stones, some nearly an inch through & the young leaves & blossoms were all beaten off. It was quite pitiful to see the ground covered with them when the
