I was home all day long. Took Mama's birthday picture. "Sue" came up after dinner & went to church with Mama to see Mrs. Judd. Mary came & spent an hour or so with me. She wanted me to go to Lura's with her - but I didn't. Mr.Myron Adams is dead - their pastor & the Davis' old friend. I read "Midsummer Nights Dream" &c. Dec. 30. Monday Mother dear is 58 today. I gave her a telescope bag & tag. She also calls the trip to Boston & N.Y. a present. Mrs. Jones was over to lunch & I tried the pocket Kodak on her - but it was very dark. She goes to Ilion tomorrow. Mama has a bad cold. Tonight Ned, Edith, Mary & I went to see John Drew & Maud Adams in "Christopher Jr." Charlotte was feeling awfully about Mr. Adams & Lura was at the Wilburs!. The play was cute.
