I sent some prints to Mrs. Dymond
(with a couple for Mrs. Graham) and some to Flavie. Tonight I went down for Mary, who appeared looking sweet in white duck & a pink shirt waist. Nellie "jollied" me about Jove! We took the car down town & were changing for Edith's when Helen, Charlotte & Frank passed us - all on wheels. Went down in the car with Mary Clark
& "Auntie Belle". Mary
& I talked about Claude's trip &c. She's a mighty sweet girl. Got to Edith's just after the Davis'. Frank just home from his vacation which isn't over till Monday. Had a jolly evening. Gave Ned my little picture in a birch back frame. (She said she wanted it to-day) Talked scrap- books with Charlotte. Heard Mary play & made all arrangements to go fishing with Frank - at Charlotte - tomorrow at 3. Mary & I left directly after the Davis - about 9:15 or so. I read later & pasted blue prints. Aug 17. Sat. Pleasant morning, but I felt quite ill - tho' I did want to go fishing. Fate forbade, however, for we had a continuous thunder storm (at times very hard) - from 2 until 8 or after.
