July 11. Thurs Still pleasant. Got supper tonight (Mama went to the Stull reception) & then rode down to Mary's for chat till dark, when I came home & read. This noon rode to the "scrub lady's" for Mama. Rode down to Edith's before supper. July 12. Friday Pleasant & still coolish. Called on Miss Goodyear this noon & dined downtown. Got my $80 & $4 interest from Aunt Melissa. In the evening fixed my room & read "Beside the Bonnie Briar Bush" (Gilmore lent it to me.) Edith was up. July 13. Sat. Shopped. Took a picture of my room (on a spoiled plate I think) and this p.m. Edith came up. We called on Nan Likely & then walked up to Mt. Hope
, where Edith decorated her Mother's grave & we walked back. She staid to supper & Mary came up afterwards for a little while. Then Edith rode my wheel (after several trials & lowering the seat) about Behn's tennis court, & then I saw her on the car. Put my saddle up higher & rode down around the park to try it. Read. J.G. got home. July 14. Sunday Cool indoors but warm enough when one is exercising. These are funny cloudy - bright- uncertain temperatured days. I rode up to Highland Park this
