Stull just back from his wedding tour. They went to
Marblehead Neck!
Mama came down at 5 and we went to
the Lake. Frederica was in the car. Walked down the beach & back
& took the 6:15 car to Manitou. The sky &
lake were exactly the same
gray - & a sort of a phantom schooner hung out by the horizon
line. The breeze was damp, almost & cool. Were very sleepy &
hungry when we got to M
. Had our lunch, strolled about & sat on the piazza
watching lake & sky. Saw the
Goulds & Mrs. Hamm just going
home. We took the 8:20 car back & it was actually cold (tho' hot
in the city - I always like that ride. Walked over to
