Papa & Mama & Claude & I all had supper there. Miss Rose Mills waited on us & we exchanged Stony Lake experiences (she was at the "Shanty".) Afterwards I bought some roses & waded to a car & went to Ned's. Rode down with Mrs. Gordon - Put on the pink roses, & the girls got ready & we went over (rather early) to Frederica's Halloween Party. Rob Witherspoon was there & in time Frank
 ... arrived & Mr. & Mrs. Harry Joiner - Mr. Miller (last year's U of R Fullback!) Mrs. Butler (in Frederica's choir). Frank Davis & Miss Hall. We did all sorts of funny (& silly of course) Halloween games - Bobbed apples. lit Candles on one knee. Ran races with apples on a spoon in mouth. Chose noses &c.&c. We chose our supper partners with vegetables. I took an onion & Mr. Miller fell to my lot. We sat thus:
