We played 10 games & ended with Mary & Mac McLaughlin - who are both nice - so we ate our scalloped oysters & things with them. It was very late when we finished. Mr. Drake & Miss Lizzie Collings got the prizes - a 3 ply shaving glass and a pair of silver hair curlers. & Mr. Severance & Mrs. McKenzie got the others - stuffed Punch & Judy dolls. We walked home by moonlight and it was almost two before I got well tucked in Nov. 28 Thursday Thanksgiving and a glorious day. Balmy. Would like to have gone riding but basted the turkey, made blue prints, etc., instead. We had dinner at 1:30 and got up from the table at 2:15 when I hurried down to the corners & met Ned (& Frank Davis) & we jammed into a car for the football grounds. Miller was taking tickets - adorned with a 5 inch chrysanthemum - and the campus was already black. We got the front seat in the grand stand (The only ones left) and of course stood up by the rail as soon as the boys appeared. I tried a snap shot at the Hamiltons but the light was poor - also another run, later.
