Wednesday night Mary & I went down to Ned's & stayed till nine - I told their fortunes with cards - or rather Mary's Found out Mr. Brooks(?) Booth was a civil engineer. Frank Davis came. My riding has been con- fined to to and from the office, except Thursday when Ned met me at 5:30 and we rode up Chili Ave. & around the new streets of asphalt & down Brown & King St. Was late to supper and felt worse for the ride (which was delightful) of course. Thurs. noon & Sat Friday p.m I went to the new Reynolds Library & which is very nice indeed. Have ridden back & forth a little with Mary & been there two noons & lunched with Claude at Sibley's on Thursday. Our house has been painted over this week - light green, with sage green trimming.
