Went up to Fisk's and he told me to ride this wheel and he would change the parts. Sewed all the evening and Papa read aloud some Got me a new ready-made blue serge shirt. Apr. 28. Sunday. Perfectly delightful day - Frank came a little after nine & we went down for Mary about half-past. She was sick abed and couldn't go. Of course she felt awfully. We went down Lake Ave., walked across Driving Park Bridge (beautiful river!) and down The Boulevard - which was free. The toll house man said it was so all the way to the Lake - about a mile past the toll house, tho' the wind began to be awful - we could hardly pedal against it. So we sat down by the road awhile and then attacked a pump & then came back. Came up St. Paul
