nice call. He wants Mary & I to go for a ride Sunday morning. Apr. 27. Saturday. Cool & lovely, but a little windy for riding. Went up to Fisk's and he told me to ride this wheel and he would change the parts. Sewed all the evening and Papa read aloud some Got me a new ready-made blue serge shirt. Apr. 28. Sunday. Perfectly delightful day - Frank came a little after nine & we went down for Mary about half-past. She was sick abed and couldn't go. Of course she felt awfully. We went down Lake Ave., walked across Driving Park Bridge (beautiful river!) and down The Boulevard - which was free. The toll house man said it was so all the way to the Lake - about a mile past the toll house, tho' the wind began to be awful - we could hardly pedal against it. So we sat down by the road awhile and then attacked a pump & then came back. Came up St. Paul
