until the breaking up and saw the Roses into their skiff. Then rowed quickly & silently home "like an Indian", as Flav. is found of doing. July 29. Monday. A beautiful morning & we got up early and fried chicken & put up our picnic lunch. The milkman and the grocer - in canoes - visited us. I went over to Hughes' Point & took a big picture of camp with my camera (tho' it was a little hazy) Flav. rowed down to Cox's to get Mrs. Galbraith & her boat, so the girls could go. Pretty soon Mr. Barnard rowed her up, and after we had loaded up, Ned got in that boat & I in ours & we rowed over to Viamede for the girls. Mr. Struthers had taken Mr. Stanberry up to Burleigh Falls for a sail. Mary got in with Ned & Mrs. G.
 and I waited till Mrs. Graham put up some bread & butter & then Helen & Charlotte got in with me & we rowed away - past the Anchorage & up Boshink - way to "the red cottage" on a distant island - where we caught up with the other boat & found our other Rochester friends & Mr. & Mrs. Rose & the boys, Mr. & Mrs. Meyers & Mr.Barnard & Mrs. Barnard, Mr.Hughes & Mrs. Hughes & Prof.Forbes &Mrs. Forbes, with Gordon & Florence, which made 20 Rochester people - in that remote spot - with we 5 girls & Mrs. G.
