May to get Albert
's dinner, but the Dr. brought Mother up, so she and I went over the house again and then strolled back via beautiful Alta Vista and the Sanitarium (where we stopped to inquire for Dr. Robinson - not there) We walked home (just a mile, by Mother's pedometer) and before dinner the Dr. took me for a little ride-out past Mc Curdy's - where I stopped & saw Lizzie & Mrs. Mc C.
a few minutes & "Hughie" (a great boy) Dem came to dinner (which was good) but had an ulcerated tooth & didn't stay long. Then Edith and I took "Lon" and had the loveliest drive - up past Stone's Falls to the top of a long hill, where we tied the horse and walked across some fields and climbed up onto a big "nubble" where there was a gorgeous view in all directions (took each- other's pictures here) Then we started for Page's hole, but took the wrong turn and wound up and down the most lovely woody road - quite high - crossing & recrossing the Shawmut railroad - but the only train passed while "Lon" was drinking - almost out of sight. The views were gorgeous. Finally we came out way up at what proved to be Perkinsville (I tho't it might be Syracuse) and fairly flew down into Dansville (all down) in the face of most lovely sunset.
