Found J.G. & J.W. had both gone to N.Y. much to my delight, as it relieved me a good deal. Dear Claude looked fine in a pretty new suit. We had a letter from Harriette

Flinch with Mother tonight. Nov. 30 Wed. Still a cold. Nothing new at office. Printed my photographs tonight. Dec. 1 Thurs. Not a very good night - coughing &c. Crisp, fine morning. Met Mrs. Andrews at the Erie Station and walked up town with her. Lunched with her this noon and selected a light coat for Edith (at Mc Curdy's). Gilmore is having troubles of his own. Tube in new boiler burst &c. &c. Spent the evening talking with Mrs. Andrews and fixing a book of photos for Edith. To bed rather late (wrote on my "Up the Lakes" article!) Dec. 2 Fri.
