Sat May 17th This evening Mother and I went to a "Silver" reception at the pretty new Moshier house, given by Helen, Mrs. M. and Mrs. Dr. Goler for the benefit of the Vacation home. The house looked very pretty and I was proud of my little brother's architecting
- Very tired tonight. May 18 Sunday I woke up at 7:30 precisely, feeling fine. The weather was perfect - Papa in New York (or at the Hill on his way. He started yesterday) and Claude going out to dinner, so I told Mother I was going to take the nine o'clock car to Pultneyville & went over & telephoned Edith, but she had a sick headache, so I decided I'd go alone & did - It was a delightful trip. All the way a bower of apple blossoms - Among the Dugway hills we looked right on the top of them and all along the ridge road - 20 miles or so - they were all their prime and the air as sweet as "May" - I got to Williamson just before eleven and Gilmore Diana and I disembarked and "hit the road" north to Pultneyville - Another four miles of Spring. It is a quaint
