Tues. Apr. 1. Have been very very busy in the office ever since I got home - Get down at 8 or soon after & leave at six or a little before. Have changed my dinner hour (at J.G.'s request) to 1 p.m. to 2:30 We are having a great time with Page of Pittsburgh about commissions. &c. and today has been "first of the month" and we've been getting J.W. off for N.Y. Claude & Mother are playing dominoes on the other end of the table & Zo sleeps serenely beside me - The clock strikes ten & now I go for a hot bath & bye-bye. Friday Apr. 4. Had a nice meeting of the "Perfects" at Lura's. I had a good score till the last three games when everyone put me in the hole & I came out lowest of all. We had the nicest ice cream I ever ate - tutti-frutti. Everyone back from Easter vacation - Washington, Oswego & N.Y. Helen has been down to Kate's. She took lunch with Papa & me at Sibley's this noon and told us interesting tales of her experiences at the "Reformatory". Home late. Sun Apr. 6. A lovely morning. Claude and I went up to Cro'nest & all thro' it - It's just about done - even to the crow in the front door
